Designed by Sparkman and Stevens and built by Abeking and Rasmussen, DIVA is a true thoroughbred.  Her elegant lines turn heads wherever she sails

Launched in 1956 as NORTHERN LIGHT, this yacht is included in the book “The Best of the Best:  Yacht Designs of Sparkman and Stevens.”  She was custom built for Rudy Schaefer, of Schaefer Beer to compete in the Newport to Bermuda Race.

DIVA’s yawl rig and keel/centerboard design make her ideal for both cruising and racing in the classic yacht regattas.  Her current owners have cruised extensively on DIVA along the East Coast, the Caribbean, South and Central America.

Recent restoration (summer 2014) includes refastening the hull, bottom painted and hull painted.
