Adria, hull #648 is a 2006 model, the final year of SCRIMP construction, and one of the last of the approximately 685 built when production ended in 2008. The overall condition is quite good with a fair, fast bottom, two sets of excellent sails for Class or PHRF racing as well as some sails and gear optimized for daysailing/cruising such as a spinnaker sock, Code 0, and high clew jib with Sunbrella sun protection when furled. While currently set up with wheel steering, it includes the kit to convert to tiller steering if desired. The dodger and cockpit cushions are stored at home maintaining their excellent condition. There is also a Fairclough canvas winter cover that breathes better than shrinkwrap while saving on winter storage costs. The decks appear to be dry with no soft spots felt underfoot or crazing that could indicate water ingress. This is likely due to two reasons: The Scrimp construction, and it appears no holes have ever been drilled into the decks by the three owners.

Cons
Limited Space: While the J/105 is comfortable for day sailing, its interior space may feel cramped for extended cruising or for larger crews, as it is designed primarily as a racing boat.
