The Catalina 30 MKII is in a long line of very popular 30 footers offered by Catalina over the years and is considered one of the most comfortable 30-foot cruisers ever made with an abundance of interior space for family living. The forward cabin has a double V-berth. There is a single settee on the starboard side and the port dinette converts to a double. Along with the large aft double stateroom, the boat will sleep up to 7. The headroom is at least 6'. The head is located on the port side between the forward and main cabins. She features a shower and across to starboard is hanging locker and drawers. The U-shaped galley lies to port near the companionway and a nav station is opposite. The self-bailing cockpit is T-shaped to accommodate the wheel steering. All lines lead aft to the cockpit. Teak trim is minimal for easy maintenance. The single spreader masthead rig is deck stepped. The keel is a wing. This is a roomy, comfortable cruising boat that is very affordable. The engine was overhauled in 2009 replacing many engine parts including a new water pump in 2013. The sails were regularly maintained by a local sail loft. USCG Documented.
