Designed for Real Sailing
The Beneteau 323 is renowned for her balanced helm and responsive sail plan - a true sailor's boat. Her deep fin keel offers exceptional tracking and upwind performance in the Pacific Northwest's variable winds, while the beamy hull provides surprising stability in the chop of Puget Sound and the open waters beyond. Single- or short-handed sailing is a pleasure, with clean lines, a well-organized cockpit, and a furling headsail that makes quick work of conditions.
Comfortable Offshore Capable Cruising
Below decks, the 323 punches well above her length. The forward V-berth cabin offers privacy and comfort for overnight passages, while the generous saloon provides seating for four with a proper nav station to port. The well-appointed galley is positioned for easy use at sea, and standing headroom throughout keeps life aboard genuinely livable on those longer weekend passages to the Gulf Islands or Desolation Sound.
Pacific Northwest Ready
This vessel is equipped and ready for the unique demands of PNW sailing - think reliable diesel auxiliary for those glassy-calm mornings in the Puget Sound, solid anchoring gear for tucking into a sheltered cove, and a cockpit designed for cool, damp conditions. She's a dock queen no more - this is a boat meant to be sailed.
Whether you're a seasoned cruiser looking for an easy-to-manage bluewater-capable boat, or an aspiring coastal cruiser ready to make the leap, the 2004 Beneteau 323 offers an exceptional combination of performance, comfort, and French craftsmanship at an attainable price point.
