Silverton Yachts, founded in the late 1960s in New Jersey, established a reputation for building comfortable, spacious, and affordable mid-size cruisers, convertibles, and motor yachts. The Silverton 422 MY, produced from 1996 to 2001, was a popular entry-level aft-cabin cruiser, lauded for maximizing interior volume and offering high-value features for its size. Feel free to stay here in all kinds of weather as well, thanks to the newly upgraded full wrap around canvas and isinglass. The flybridge and helm area includes forward lounge seating, offering good visibility for navigation, complete with upgraded Garmin and marine stereo controls. The bridge is also fully enclosed with newly upgraded canvas/isinglass, which was done just this year. Other recent upgrades include new engines in 2012, custom aft deck refrigerator (2023), vinyl snap down aft deck carpeting (2023), new mid A/C unit (2024), new cutlass bearing and reconditioned props (2024), replaced exhaust manifolds and risers (2025), reupholstered helm bench seat, and more.
