The CT47 is a well-built center cockpit, cutter rigged sailboat designed by Kaufmann and Ladd. With a moderately heavy displacement of 36,000 lbs. this vessel is capable of sailing nearly anywhere. Solid fiberglass hull.
Two staterooms, two heads. Proper holding tanks and offshore macerator pump. Main salon settee, table drops to form a double bed if needed, and starboard settee pulls out to form an additional full berth. Ample storage for provisions and gear. Galley to port ; 3 burner Force 10 stove and oven. Propane from 2 tanks in dedicated deck locker. Refrigerator and freezer.
Starboard midships is a 6' navigation station and work counter. Classic drawers for charts and gear. Lots of spare parts . Queen sized berth in aft stateroom. Separate shower stall. and dedicated sump pump.
75 lb Delta anchor, 180' of chain and 250' of rode. Second 75 lb Bruce with 180' chain and 150' rode. Electric windlass. Aluminum Danforth with chain and rode- ideal stern anchor. Gale rider drogue for storm conditions. Safety gear includes Revere 6 man life raft, MOB pole with light and PLB, Lifesling, 2 MOB buoys, jacklines.
