Are you that first time buyer, looking for that boat that has been well maintained by a seasoned captian, that is ready to set sail? "Arya" is here waitng for you ! She has been set up to attrack that "single handed sailor ".
The Freedom 36 was the first of the Freedom line designed by California-based naval architect Gary Mull, which later was followed by a 30, a 28 and then the Freedom 42. Freedom yachts had a top-end, high quality builder reputation for building quality production boats.
As you would expect with the long waterline, short over hang and wide beam, the area below deck is hugh. As you enter the boat you will notice both the beautiful interior cabinetry with a teak satin varnish with gloss trim and the teak and holly cabin sole. Powered by a Yanmar 27hp, she carries a full main w/ stack pack on a carbon fiber mast. The free-standing rig has defanged a maneuver that has worried many sailors. A Hoyt self-tending jib makes life so easy. Not to mention how one can easily fall heads over heals for the Electric winch in the cockpit. Her current owner has set up New Raymarine electronics ... her list just keeps on going !

As you enter the centerline companionway, the U-shaped gallely is to port and the Nav Station with swing out seat is adjacent to starboard. Conveniently located above the Nav table is the electrical panel, battery switches and space to mount future electronics. Aft of the Nav Station is a stateroom with double inline berth and hanging locker.
Moving forward is a large L shaped dinette settee to port. Adjacent to starboard is a long settee bench. The dinette table has flip up extension that allows dining accessability port and starboard. Forward and to port is the head which is accessible from the main salon and the forward stateoom. The "wet" head is a roomy, primarily molded fiberglass with formica counter top around the vanity with SS sink with hot and cold pressurized water, and Raritan manual head. Forward is a large Captain's stateroom witha V berth which can be made into a comfortalbe double by using an insert in the "v" with access to the head, lending to privacy.
