Saloon

Bright, open, and inviting, the saloon aboard KIMBERLY ANN welcomes you from the fully covered aft deck through double aluminum weather-tight doors. Designed for comfort and enjoyment, the space combines timeless yacht styling with a warm, airy atmosphere.

A free-standing teak hi/low table provides a versatile setting for dining or entertaining, while two Ekornes Stressless chairs offer an ideal place to relax. Natural ventilation flows through three sliding screened windows, complemented by a Phantom retractable screen at the aft cockpit doors.

Custom-fitted carpet adds comfort underfoot and can be removed to reveal the rich teak flooring that runs throughout the interior.

As the final 48' model built with the traditional molded headliner and teak accents, KIMBERLY ANN reflects the classic craftsmanship and interior character expected of a proper yacht.

Galley

The U-shaped Galley is just forward of the Saloon on the Starboard side.  It is equipped with stainless-steel appliances and the granite countertops provide plenty of room for meal preparation.  Ventilation is provided through a sliding window with screen.  Opposite the galley is a teak bookcase/bar with matching granite countertop, a 12" round opening port light with screen.

Galley Appliances:

  • GE microwave/convection oven vented to outside
  • Force 10 three burner propane range with sea rails

The absence of spray rails and chines forward insure tranquil nights at anchor.

The en-suite head features a separate stall shower, Sealand VacuFlush fresh water head, vanity with a granite counter top, and two opening port lights with screens.

Starboard Guest Cabin

The Starboard guest stateroom (or 2nd cabin) has a full-sized fore and aft fixed berth, a fold down Pullman berth, a fold down desk. There is a chest of drawers, under berth storage, overhead book shelf, and a hanging locker.  Ventilation is provided via two opening port lights with screens.

Guest Head

The guest head is to starboard and includes a separate stall shower, Sealand VacuFlush fresh water head, vanity with granite counter top, and an opening port light with screen.

Pilothouse

The raised pilothouse aboard KIMBERLY ANN delivers the elevated perspective and unmistakable, authoritative pilothouse presence that make this style of trawler so desirable. Designed for far more than navigation underway, it is equally suited as an inviting gathering space for morning coffee, casual meals, or relaxed conversation while enjoying the view.

An L-shaped settee provides an excellent vantage point and a comfortable place to dine while cruising. It also converts to a double berth for guests or a generous single watch berth during extended passages.

At the helm, a Pompanette Platinum Series leather captain’s chair, dedicated electronics area, expansive North Sea angled windows, and outstanding sightlines create a comfortable and highly functional command station for both captain and crew.

Natural airflow is abundant through Dutch aluminum weather-tight doors to port and starboard, overhead screened hatches, opening side windows with screens, and two screened portlights.
