Robert Perry 41 Blue Water Cruiser
The Perry 41, a robust Taiwanese blue-water cruiser, was designed by the esteemed naval architect Robert Perry. Viking Girl features an underwater hull design similar to the Valiant 40, with an encapsulated long fin and a skeg-hung rudder, but without the canoe stern. Inside, the construction boasts solid teak throughout, free of veneers. She features two private staterooms, one head, and a separate shower stall.
Originally powered by a Perkins diesel, the engine was replaced in 1998 with a Yanmar 50 hp with a sail drive, which has only 575 hours of use. The sail drive unit itself was again replaced in 2019. Over the past decade, Viking Girl has undergone significant upgrades.
This vessel has already completed multiple South Pacific cruises and was transported from California to Florida in 2022. Since her arrival in Pensacola, she has seen very light use.
