The Bennington L Series is the value-driven line in the Bennington pontoon range, built on the same pontoon platform as the higher RX Sport and Q lines but with more economical upholstery finishes and aluminum fencing in place of fiberglass. Buyers looking at Bennington L Series pontoons for sale will find lengths from 18 to 26 feet, passenger capacities between 7 and 15, and an 8-foot-5 beam on the mid-size models. Pricing starts at roughly $50,000 for the smaller hulls with lower horsepower, well below the Q and RX Sport lines that can run upward of $151,000. The lineup suits lake-house families stepping out of a ski or bow rider boat who want more seating, easy step-on/step-off access, and the safety of side and rear gates that close children into the deck.

Engine choices span Yamaha and Mercury outboards, with maximums up to 350 horsepower on the 24-foot models and 400 horsepower on the 26-footer. A 24-foot L Series running 200 to 250 horsepower reaches a top speed in the mid-30s to around 40 mph, while a 350 pushes past 40 mph with stronger low-end torque for pulling a wakeboarder or skier. A 23-foot L equipped with a Mercury 200 carries plenty of power for its size, and the 25L paired with a Mercury 250 Pro XS cruises in the mid-40s. One L24 fitted with a Yamaha 175 SHO four-stroke recorded a 36.2 mph top speed, and the SHO's pumped-up mid-range torque makes it capable for tubing and tow sports.

The L Series rides on Bennington tritoon performance packages, and the 25L uses the 25 SPS tritoon, which banks and turns more gently than the harder-cornering SPS performance setups. Handling stays flat in corners as pontoons do, but the build feels solid through waves and turns, without the Bimini rattle, deck flex, or door shake found on some price-conscious competitors. Bennington's exoskeleton construction, stainless steel docking lights, and stainless rub rail add durability that sets the L apart from other value brands.

At the helm, the L line comes standard with chrome rocker switches, a custom steering wheel with tilt steering, and well-labeled controls. Higher trims add a Simrad touchscreen that consolidates the gauge cluster and doubles as a fish finder showing depth and bottom structure. Audio runs through a Rockford Fosgate stereo with USB ports and a 12-volt outlet, with the Roswell premium audio package and RGB 13-color illumination available as options. A locking glove box is standard, along with high-speed USB and USB-C charging stations, hydraulic power steering, and a power Bimini that raises and lowers electrically on some boats.

Layout choices are extensive: the L line offers 75 floor plans, including the fastback quad bench with aft-facing speakers and models with an open sport arch and a functional tow point for adding speakers and wakeboard racks. The L bow rider lowers the bow into a step-down U-lounge with the Vantage Point captain's view, built around Bennington's integrated V-hull package with two to three oversized in-floor storage compartments, in 23 and 25-foot lengths with engines up to 300 horsepower. Some models feature a sunken front living area, the step-down conversation pit you rarely see on pontoons. Deck features include large in-floor storage bins, a rear-facing lounger that converts to L-shape or full sun-lounger seating, a folding change-room frame hidden under the stern lounger, swim platforms front and rear with a boarding ladder, and as many as 20 cup holders on a 12-person boat.

The LX is the top of the L Series, adding a deluxe folding open sport arch or a power-folding cladded sport arch, LX Sport vinyl-wrapped upholstery, pillow-top furniture with pressed diamond or diamond-stitch options, and the first Arctic white interiors in the lineup. The LX offers more than 40 floor plans from 19 to 26 feet with engines up to 450 horsepower. Pontoons are wider and bulkier to tow than a V-hull, so factor in trailering and storage; for buyers who want maximum entertaining space, soft ride, and Bennington build quality at a lower price point, the L Series delivers a lot of boat for the money.
