The Bayliner Element E21 is the largest model in the Element deck boat series, sitting above the 16- and 18-foot versions at 20 feet 8 inches long with an 8-foot beam. It was introduced for 2017 and built around getting more families on the water at an affordable price, carrying an as-low-as price of $24,990 as a complete boat, motor and trailer package. Rated for up to 10 passengers, the E21 keeps the simple three-zone Element layout while adding usable space, which makes it a practical entry point for buyers shopping Bayliner Element boats for sale who want room without complexity.

Power comes from a Mercury EFI four-stroke outboard, with a 115-horsepower engine standard and a 150-horsepower version optional for roughly $4,200 more. The optional 150 uses a 3-liter displacement block and adds hydraulic steering, suited to running with more passengers and gear aboard. In testing with the 150, the E21 reached plane in 3.3 seconds, hit 25 mph in 7.5 seconds, and ran a top speed of 41.7 mph. The boat stayed notably stable in rough open water and hooked up cleanly through chop.

The defining feature of the Bayliner Element boat is its M hull, named for the shape it shows on the trailer: a modified V center entry, made deeper on the E21, flanked by two catamaran-like sponsons. Bayliner rates the design at up to 30 percent more stability than a like-size V-bottom. A pronounced center keel, deeper at the bow, gives strong tracking in turns with very little lean, and the hull profile is self-guiding onto the trailer bunks for easy loading. The boat ships with a tandem-axle trailer featuring a folding tongue and brakes.

Layout runs across three zones. The bow carries the beam forward for open lounge seating with storage beneath each side, an anchor locker, grab handles, and an optional filler cushion that creates a sunpad. Midship are contoured helm and companion pod seats with under-seat storage, a console glove box and enclosed cooler storage. The aft zone has two sun lounges with a curved stern lounge area where feet extend onto the swim platform extensions, plus an optional center filler cushion for a full-beam sunpad. The cockpit is self-bailing with hard, easy-clean surfaces, and a built-in 44-gallon fuel tank supports a full day on the water.

The compact helm carries large tilt steering, multi-function tack and speedometer gauges, a contoured fixed seat with bolster, and a Jensen or Fusion stereo. A small windshield is standard, with a full windshield available for colder climates. The full-beam swim platform includes twin step extensions and a folding ladder on the starboard side, angled away from the engine and visible from the helm. Common upgrades on Bayliner Element boats for sale include a bimini top, bow and cockpit covers, a Lowrance Elite 9 GPS combo, a cockpit table, and dual batteries under the bow seats wired for a bow-mount trolling motor. Coverage includes a limited lifetime structural hull warranty, a 10-year structural transfer to a second owner, a 5-year deck warranty and a 1-year parts warranty. Used examples have included 2020 and 2021 models with the 150-horsepower Mercury, with one 2020 listed at $34,000.
