The Azimut Seadeck range is a series of express cruisers built around what Azimut calls the "fun island," a sea-level deck where fold-down gunwale wings open the boat to the water. The line launched with the Seadeck 6, a 57-foot model, and expanded with the larger Azimut Seadeck 7 at 71 feet; an 84-foot Seadeck 9 is in production. These are boats that mix high-end Italian yacht finishes with relaxed beach-club living, suiting owners who want both a refined cruiser and a platform for swimming, watersports and casual entertaining. Sustainability sits at the center of the concept, from recycled materials to hybrid propulsion options.

The Seadeck 6 measures 57 feet with a 16-foot-7-inch beam and runs triple Volvo Penta IPS 650 drives rated at 450 to 480 horsepower each. Top speed reached 33.4 knots at 3,800 rpm, with the hull optimized for an efficient planing cruise between 22 and 26 knots; at 22 knots it burns about 47 gallons per hour for a range just under 300 nautical miles from the 634-gallon tank. Slowed to a 6-knot displacement pace, fuel drops to roughly 3 gallons per hour and range stretches to about 1,350 nautical miles. The triple-engine choice was made for efficiency and shallower draft, and progress is notably quiet, registering in the mid-60s decibels at cruise.

The Azimut Seadeck 7 grows to 71 feet on an 18-foot beam and adds a flybridge, a larger platform with a tender garage, and a bigger fun island fitted with twin barbecue grills near the waterline. This model is powered by Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines (a smaller IPS option is also offered) for a 32-knot top speed and a cruise around 23 knots. At about 28 knots near wide-open throttle, range is roughly 275 miles; ease back to 14 knots and it covers around 414 miles, while a 6.4-knot pace yields over 2,000 miles. A Volvo hybrid system drives the boat to 11 knots on electric power alone, fed by solar panels on the flybridge. The Azimut Seadeck 7 price comes in around $4.4 million at base and roughly $6.1 million fully equipped with twin Seakeepers, making the Seadeck 7 for sale a fully loaded proposition at the top of its options list.

Both boats carry the signature platform that slides aft and drops into the water; on the Seadeck 7 it forms a shallow staircase and lifts 600 kilograms, with storage for a Seabob or jet ski and a launchable Williams jet tender. Fold-down balconies on both sides extend the living area over the water, and pop-out wing stations give joystick, thruster and engine controls for med-mooring. Decks are surfaced in cork on the Seadeck 6 and repurposed "blue teak," assembled from teak offcuts, on the Seadeck 7. Helm electronics run on Garmin displays with joystick docking, docking assist and surround view standard.

Below, the Seadeck 6 sleeps in three staterooms with a midships master set against the starboard bulkhead, a forward VIP and a twin guest cabin, plus a combination washer-dryer. The Seadeck 7 expands to a four-stateroom, three-head layout with a full-size washer and dryer, a master with side doors to port and starboard, bunk and convertible-berth cabins, and separate crew quarters with twin bunks and a wet head in the bow. The galley sits forward behind a pocket door beside the lower helm, allowing crew to cook in private while remaining close to the helm on passage.

On build, the Seadeck 6 uses a carbon-fiber superstructure (about 40% of its surface) over a GRP hull, leaving it roughly 5 tons lighter than comparable boats, and Azimut claims 20 to 30% better efficiency than a similar yacht of a decade ago. The mild-hybrid system pairs a 40-kWh BMW lithium battery bank with nearly 1,500 watts of solar, a 15-kW generator and a 3-kW alternator, running climate control, galley and Seakeeper for roughly 4 hours of hotel load or 8 hours overnight. Points to weigh include the narrow beam forward, which makes for a fine sea boat but tighter cabins, the absence of a hardtop option on the 7, and bimini limits at wide-open throttle.
