The Azimut S6 is an 18-meter sport cruiser (59 feet 1 inch in length) with a 4.75-meter beam (15 feet 7 inches) and a full-load draft of 1.61 meters (5 feet 3 inches) including the propellers. Tipping the scales at roughly 30 tonnes, it is built around carbon fiber construction that keeps weight down without shrinking volume: the superstructure, sunroof, swim platform, tender garage, transom and parts of the deck are laminated using Azimut's CarbonTech process. Exterior lines are the work of Stefano Righini, with interiors by Francesco Guida. The boat is offered in two forms — a coupe and the Azimut S6 Sportfly, which adds a contained flybridge with a second helm, extra seating and sunbathing space. Anyone searching for an Azimut S6 for sale should know the new price was quoted at 1,280,000 euros.

Performance is what sets this yacht apart. Three Volvo Penta IPS 700 pod drives, each a 7.7-liter D8 inline-six with a twin-flow turbo and volumetric compressor rated at 550 horsepower (405 kW), give a combined 1,650 horsepower. Top speed reaches 35 to 36 knots, and the hull comes onto the plane in about seven seconds. At a 30-knot cruise, fuel consumption is around 255 liters per hour for an effective range of 275 nautical miles. At 20 knots and 2,000 rpm the engines burn roughly 160 liters per hour, about 8 liters per mile, and that figure barely changes pushing past 27 knots. The deep-V hull carries 21.2 degrees of deadrise amidships easing to 15.5 degrees at the stern, and the flat stem at the bow lifts the forefoot clear at speed. Fuel capacity is about 2,600 liters.

The two-seat helm sits to starboard inside, with Volvo Penta electronics housed under a flush-mounted glass console. A single throttle lever controls all three engines underway, while the joystick works the two outer IPS units and the bow thruster for docking; active trim control manages lateral and longitudinal trim automatically. Drivers have multiple stations to choose from: the lower helm, the flybridge helm to port on the Sportfly, and an aft wing station with engine controls, joystick and bow thruster. A gyro stabilizer keeps the boat steady at anchor and underway.

The cockpit carries teak decking, a fold-out dining table on a stainless pedestal, an Isotherm fridge, and a barbecue station with sink, fridge and freezer drawer concealed behind the flybridge stairs. The aft sun lounge extends over a transom garage that swallows a 3.3-meter tender (such as a Pirelli J33), with a hydraulically lowering platform. Forward sits a trapezoidal bow lounge with sunpad and sofa. A hot-and-cold swim shower, side boarding doors and deep storage lockers round out the deck.

Below, the master stateroom sits amidships with a diagonally arranged double bed and a choice of sofas, dressing table or storage along one side. A forward VIP stateroom and a starboard twin cabin share a bathroom accessible from both the cabin and the corridor, while a crew cabin with its own small head occupies the bow. The main-deck galley uses Miele appliances on a staggered island layout, and oak is mixed with aluminum and steel detailing throughout. Examples on the market include 2019 and 2021 boats, the latter delivered in showroom condition.
