The Zimmerman 36 is custom cruiser with a Spencer Lincoln designed downeast hull (solid glass below the waterline). The Z36s were built to owners specs for cabin style, layout features, and options. They have a reputation for ease of handling, comfort, and economical cruising. Owner cruised her easy at 15 knots with wide open throttle speeds reaching 20 knots.
Viking on the Luce is equipped with a reliable Cummins 450hp Diamond Series diesel engine. Bow thruster, anchor chain with electric windlass, and Westerbeke generator.
No Exterior Teak!!! Beautiful Cherry interior cabinetry!
Viking on the Luce was built in 1999. She has a traditional v-berth with custom bedding. She has a convertible dinette and settee salon layout. For cruises, she is great for two people and easily accommodates guests. Among her many features are a Stidd helm chair, Stidd double companion seat, newly carpeted salon floor, an electric galley, complete dining service, stall shower and a Sealand vacuflush head.
During the off season she has been either shrink wrapped or stored inside.
