VESSEL WALKTHROUGH
The 42 Yellowfin is widely regarded as the "best of the best" when it comes to large center console offshore sport fishing machines. T/T Clarity was the tender to a large motor yacht. She served her owners, crew and guests extremely well as a fishing, diving and excursion vessel throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas and East Coast U.S. She has been professionally maintained. Her quad 300 Verado package has operated flawlessly throughout ownership. They have the latest generation heavy duty lower units as well as other Mercury recommended upgrades and service. Experienced crew say she is the softests, driest and best rough water running center console they have ever run. Cruise speed of 40mph gives you a mile per gallon range. She carries 600 gallons in three 200 gallon fuel tanks. WOT is between 55 and 60 MPH.
When you jump aboard the 42 Yellowfin T/T Clarity you can immediately tell she is a no nonsense fishing machine. As you walk around and notice some of the other features you can start to see how well thought out she is when it comes to some of the creature comforts that also appeal to the large center console owner. Her large cockpit is all business with a live well, bait prep station, 4 electric reel outlets and rod holders but she also has nice fwd and aft facing cockpit seating, and a refrigerator. She has large walk around decks with under gunwale storage for tackle, rods, gaffs and more. There is a ton of in deck storage for gear and macerated fish boxes. The helm on the center console is loaded with top of the line electronics usually seen on larger vessels. On the port side of the console there is a door that opens up to reveal a rather large, well-appointed cabin space. It features a full stand up head, air conditioning, flat screen tv and sleeping berths for 2. Back on deck fwd of the console is a 2 person lounge style seating area. The seats flip up and offer ample storage underneath. All the way fwd is additional bow seating for guests. Rod holders surround the entire gunwale to allow for a wide variety of fishing techniques.
