Digital Switching of Circuits
• Rather than having a bunch of traditional mechanical switches and fuse panels, C-Zone virtualizes circuit control: you can turn on/off loads (lights, fridge, nav electronics, etc.) via its network.
• You can combine multiple circuits under a single “mode” or switch for simpler operation.
Modes / Preset System States
• You can define “Modes” that change multiple circuits at once. For example: a “Cruising” mode could turn on key loads (navigational electronics, bilge, lighting) but leave non-essential ones off.
• Logic can be programmed: e.g., timers, time-of-day switching, or load shedding.
• According to X-Yachts spec for the 33C: there are 3 individual standard modes in their C-Zone system.
Monitoring (Voltage, Tanks, Alarms)
• C-Zone can monitor battery levels / voltages, shore power status, fluid levels (e.g., freshwater, waste), temperature, and more.
• It supports alarm logic: it can alert you to fault conditions (low battery, high temperature, reversed polarity, etc.).

The weight of the engine is reasonable for the boat’s displacement, helping maintain a good power-to-weight balance and not compromising hull performance. The relatively small displacement of the V8 370 offers a very good power/to/weight ratio for its class.
The broad rev range (down to 550 rpm) gives good low-speed control for docking or slow cruise. The counter-rotating prop offers even more assistance, especially backing to the dock. The bow thruster makes everyone at the helm look like a pro.
Electronically controlled fuel injection + common rail gives fuel efficiency, better responsiveness, and more precise control — important for both economy and performance.
