From its 100% electric motor to the low impact materials it's built with, Eelex 8000 embodies the start of a more sustainable maritime tradition. With electric power, toxic fumes and disruptive noises vanish, and it produces a minimal carbon footprint compared to fossil fuel engines, which helps combat climate change. The hull is made out of flax fabric and recycled PET, and the deck is covered in cork which is superior in both function and sustainability. For proactive excursions, the boat's software can be used to operate a built-in Sea Lab which collects environmental data from the water you're in, such as the PH and oxygen levels.
Eelex 8000 is built for high performance. With a 225 kW motor and a 120 kWh battery capacity, it will reach a speed of up to 35 knots with a cruising speed of 20 knots.
