This 32 ft 1988 Wellcraft 3200 St Tropez, powered with the original twin 340 hp 7.4L Mercruisers with only 578 hours, has been meticulously maintained and is in excellent condition in Stratford, CT.
The St Tropez twin inboard express was and is Wellcraft's best selling express ever - over 1700 St Tropez 3200s were built.. Euro styling décor with mauve colored or brushed aluminum accents differ from the traditional teak trimmed interiors of her era. The single level cockpit is well suited for entertaining or fishing. This boat has the upgraded 7.4L 340 hp Mercuisers, rather than the standard twin 260 hp.
The St Tropez was built as a spacious family cruiser perfect for a young family. The helm area features a comfortably padded double helm seat and a similarly upholstered companion seat. The upholstered aft bench seats across the transom and level deck throughout the cockpit and helm area make for comfortable seating underway and plenty of space in the cockpit for entertaining and fishing. The engine room is fully accessible through the rear hatches for easy engine maintenance. The soft top easily folds back to turn the boat into a convertible for those glorious sunny days and the wide foredeck has plenty of space for sun worshipers. The full, camper canvas with custom screens keeps the weather and the bugs out underway or at anchor.
Down below the St Tropez really shines. No dank and dark mid-cabin caves here. Gleaming white interiors with colorful accents make the living spaces light and lively. The master "cabin" is a double Island berth forward, with a privacy curtain. Aft to starboard is an adult sized dinette area that converts to a roomy double berth. To port is a clever bench seat, that easily opens up into an upper and lower berth arrangement which quickly become the favored berths on the boat. Just aft is the adult sized fully enclosed head with an electric marine toilet, sink, and shower. Across from the head is the separate galley with refrigerator, sink, stove and microwave oven.
It is difficult to imagine a cruiser better suited for a family day-cruising the beaches or a weekend at Block Island. Cruzan has been meticulously maintained and well cared for. She is extremely clean and capable; turn-key ready to offer a new family wonderful weekends on the water.
