Wellcraft has been producing boats for decades and are reputably known for their solid hulls. The Coastal 2600 is a blue water capable fishing boat, yet is still easily trailered to any destination you desire. The cockpit offers a spacious 9'8'' beam and the I/O set up, powered by a 7.4LMercruiser 454 engine and Bravo 1 outdrive, allows for a large stable swim platform perfect for getting your catch aboard or simply spending down time at the sand bar!
From a dock, boarding the vessel is easiest from the side decks into the cockpit, boasting plenty of space to battle a fishing rod around. To the aft are two storage lockers on for gear and down on the deck are two hatches on each side of the engine hatch for access to the batteries. Under the port side captains seat and below the livewell tank is a hatch with access to the livewell and raw water washdown pumps. Below the captains seat at the helm you have a glove box style storage compartment and to center on the deck is a large ski locker / cooler with drain. Moving forward are two captains seats, the helm is to starboard, including engine controls, a Garmin EchomapUHD 93sv, West Marine VHF Radio, the sliding tinted companionway to below deck is to center and all shaded by a new bimini top. Down two steps and once below, to port is an enclosed head with a sink and storage below. To starboard, a booth style dinette that can be lowered and converted to make additional sleeping space with storage above. Mid-ship and to port is a kitchenette style galley equipped with a 12v/120v refrigerator, a single eye range, a stainless steel sink, three storage drawers and storage up above. Moving forward is the large V-Berth with additional rod storage above. The fordeck is protected by a stainless steel bow rail with fender storage, a deck hatch, and the bow pulpit is equipped with a Lewmar Pro Fish windlass system.
