2001 Wellcraft 33 Scarab AVS Boat in Riverside, CA US

This Scarab is a 1 Owner vessel and has less than 90 hours recorded run time on both Volvo Penta engines. The boat was last on the water in 2010 and has been kept in an indoor storage facility since. The 33 Scarab AVS features a spacious cabin with a V-berth incorporating plenty of storage, indirect lighting, and dual lounge seating. A completely plumed head is neatly tucked away in a compartment on the starboard side. Both the driver and companion seating have twin bolsters and electronically convert from leaning posts into bucket seats. Additionally, a three-person bolster-style bench seat with integrated grab rails for both port and starboard is conveniently placed aft of the helm. A large sunpad sits over the engine hatch, which raises on a hydraulic ram.
The helm station has been outfit with high-performance Auto-Meter gauges by Pro-Comp Marine with color-matched bezels in two rows above the steering. Zero Effort throttles and shifters are set in the right-hand position in a dash extension next to the gunwale. Centered on the dash are indicators for the standard dual ram trim tabs. The engine compartment is spacious and comes complete with color-matched gelcoat and diamond plate.

The DPX 500, which has a displacement of 8.2 liters (502 cubic inches). Each engine were hand-built and test-run for an hour under load prior to release from the factory. Self-adjusting hydraulic valve lifters, which are driven off a single camshaft in the engines, eliminate the need for regular adjustments. Rollers on the rocker arms reduce wear and frictional loss. Fuel is delivered by a multi-port electronic fuel-injection system that integrates with the engine management system, which controls and monitors the primary engine functions. The system is responsive to atmospheric conditions, including barometric variations, and features self-diagnostic capability.
