The PowerBoat Guide had this to say:
Wellcraft got it right in 1998 with the introduction of the 3000 Martinique, a good-looking family express with roomy accommodations and a good turn of speed. She's built on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull, and her generous 10-foot, 6-inch beam results in an expansive, user-friendly layout in both the cockpit and cabin. Like most express cruisers in this size range, the Martinique has a traditional mid-cabin floor-plan designed to meet the cruising needs of four adults and two kids. Privacy curtains separate the fore and aft sleeping areas from the salon, and locating the refrigerator under the forward dinette seat increased galley storage. Topside, the driver's side of the doublewide helm flips up to form a bolster for standup driving. Cockpit amenities include a wet bar with sink and refrigerator, transom shower, and removable cock- pit table. An electrically operated hatch in the cockpit sole lifts to reveal a roomy engine compartment. On the downside, the swim platform is narrow compared with newer express boats.
