"Cochise" is a nice, "rare to the market" Vista 38 aft cabin Trawler produced by Kha Shing Shipbuilding of Taiwan. She is a 1990 model built in 1989. She has a nice two stateroom, two head layout with a large V-berth in the forward stateroom with it's own private head. The aft master stateroom has a centerline queen berth and it's own private head with stall shower. There is a large aft deck area with hardtop. The flybridge has port and starboard bench seating and Bimini top with full enclosure. .
The boat is powered by two economical and reliable Ford Lehman 225hp Turbo diesels that give a solid 8 to 9 knot cruise and a little more if you're in a hurry. The fuel burn at cruise is only about 4 gph. Combined with her light and bright interior and comfortable two stateroom layout she is an attractive boat for those wanting extended cruising at an attractive price.
Note: "Cochise" is a clean, good looking, well equipped boat that has has been well maintained and it shows. She has many recent upgrades including bow and stern thrusters, Garmin Echomap 94sx Chartplotter and fishfinder, Raymarine radar, new battery charger, batteries and control panel, inverter, new holding tank, new refrigerator and microwave, new curtains and shades, galley dinette table and chairs, new TV and much more.

The Vista 38 has the usual superb wood joinery interior as featured by the Kha Shing Shipyard over the years. COCHISE has a light-grain wood that is nicely finished with multiple coats of satin varnish and it is in very good condition. The large forward windshield area and generous windows in the salon provide a good amount of ambient light. Portions of the forward cabin, salon, helm console and galley lower trim sections have been painted white to lighten the interior.
