Powered by MAN V12X 2200 MHP or MTU 12V2000 M96Z engines, the 70 is designed to deliver speeds in the low 40-knot range while maintaining control and balance in changing conditions. Viking's Advanced Propulsion System, including flow-aligned running gear, propeller pockets, and electronic power steering, enhances handling and responsiveness whether running offshore or maneuvering in close quarters.

The cockpit has been lengthened and engineered into the hull from the start, providing more working space without affecting the boat's running attitude. Everything is laid out with real use in mind-from clear sightlines from the bridge to efficient movement during a fight.
