Built with Viking's latest technologies, the "Next Bite" includes Viking's performance package offering weight savings and state of the art building materials. Combining that with the upgraded power from the latest MTU technology, this high performance machine is highest in its class. The "Next Bite" is currently the only 66 on the market with the upgraded engine package of twin Series MTU 2000- V12 M96L: 1945MHP engines. Also included from MTU is the dynamic positioning joystick. This system provides the ability for extreme maneuverability for close quarters, chasing a fish or live baiting. MTU engines coupled with the upgraded hydraulic thruster all combined in the joystick control for extremely easy use.
This 66 features a 4 stateroom layout with all ensuite heads and customized interior and decor. The forward stateroom is the center-lined island berth layout and there is also engine room access from the crew quarters head located aft. The 66 Convertible also includes a day head in the salon that is easily accessible from the salon area and close to the cockpit. The mezzanine seating includes upgraded ultraleather cushions and is air-conditioned for cooling comfort. Underneath the upgraded custom teak cockpit deck lies a Seakeeper SK 26 that allows for maximum roll reduction stability. Also in the cockpit are the upgraded removable tuna tubes in the transom providing a competitive edge whether fun-fishing or in an aggressive tournament series. Other upgraded and notable features include the Palm Beach Tower, custom Release Marine fighting chair, table and helm chairs, and extensive Atlantic Marine Electronics package.
