The 61 Convertible is arguably the most sought after model that Viking ever built and "Relentless" is and exceptional example, as she his is one of the few 61's built with optional MTU 16V2000 engines for optimal performance & reliability, which provides Cruise speeds in the mid 30's and top speed in excess of 40 Kts! She also has been repainted from the waterline up! She's heavily loaded including many other recent upgrades and updates, including a custom cockpit mezzanine was added by Viking in 2022!
"Restless" has the (3) staterooms & (3) full heads interior layout option, which is highly customized with hardwood flooring throughout, custom leather and stonework and a new AV system that rivals a sound studio. She has had a full paint job from waterline up and, installation of new teak decks.
The 61C is a lean and muscular, her massive cockpit and agile open-water handling were for many years the standard by which all big convertibles were measured. Descended from the iconic Viking 55 Convertible, the 61 has a sharper entry than previous Vikings for a drier ride and improved head-sea performance. Like all Viking interiors, the high-gloss teak woodwork, granite counters, and designer décor make for elegant accommodations. The engine room has standing headroom with a separate pump room forward. In 2003, the hull bottom was redesigned with prop pockets.
