Viking Yachts, known world-wide for performance sportfishing convertible yachts, utilized its extensive planing hull technology to build a convertible-style running surface with 15.5-degree transom deadrise and extra lift from a hydrodynamic wedge created by the upward taper of the cockpit extension. Additionally, side exhaust tubes in fiberglass tunnels add lift to create aft buoyancy and the exhaust remains wet and quiet, even at displacement speeds. The 60 Sport Yacht�s low profile and side exhaust tubes provide an additional benefit by adding beam for lateral stability when cruising through a rolling seaway.
