The 2006 56 Viking REEL SOUTHERN can easily be boarded from her swim platform or straight into the cockpit. Once on board you cannot help but feel her wide 18’2” beam. This beam allows for the cockpit to easily accommodate a fishing team or party crowd. The centerpiece of the cockpit is perhaps the coolest and most ingenious rocket launcher I have ever seen. The 7 rod launcher, when not being used for fishing has a custom slide out MAGMA propane grill for dockside or underway barbecues.

Enter the Main Salon through the automatic door from the cockpit. Her interior is beautifully crafted in high gloss teak wood and trim. The wood is in excellent shape, and she has been redecorated tastefully. She has NO CARPET. Instead, she features durable wood tone Vinyl flooring throughout.

Between the galley and dinette lies a staircase leading down to the lower accommodations. The 2006 56 Viking REEL SOUTHERN has a spacious three stateroom two head layout. Immediately to starboard is the large guest two bunkstateroom. The bunks are arranged perpendicular with the lower berth athwartships and oversized. The second bunk is elevated fore and aft over storage cabinets. Just fwd of the elevated bunk is a cedar lined hanging locker. This stateroom has inside access to a head that also doubles as a day head with hallway access. The stackable washer dryer is housed inside the head adding to stateroom volume.
