The 55 Viking in the late 90s and early 2000s is the model that propelled Viking on a path towards sportfish market segment dominance. Capable of 30 knot cruising speeds she was a force to be reckoned with on the tournament trail leaving all other production boats in her wake. In addition to her speed, her build quality, fishability and layout set a new bar for sportfishing boats. A total of 115 were built making the 55 one of the best-selling VIKING models of all time. The 2000 model 55 Viking "Margin Call" is a fantastic example of a well-cared for, nicely updated classic 55. She has been painted, engines overhauled and serviced, electronics updated, AC systems updated, and extensive customizations done. Cockpit
The cockpit of “Margin Call” is rigged for battle. She has a Murray Brothers fighting chair as the center piece and custom teak decks. In deck to starboard is the bin for the eskimo ice chipper. She also has a large macerated fish box and in deck live well. Against the forward bulkhead there is a deep bait freezer, sink and center line engine room access. Custom cushions have been added to create mezzanine style seating. Additional cockpit features include:

Salon
Entering the salon through the push button power door you are welcome by a familiar open, social sportfish main deck level layout. Large windows provide ample natural light. To port is an L shaped cream color leather sofa with high gloss teak coffee table. Salon lighting has been upgraded to LED. On the starboard side forward there is dinette seating with a high gloss teak table and an upgraded flat screen Samsung TV on the forward bulkhead with storage behind.
Galley
Across from the dinette is the fully equipped galley. She features everything a shipboard gourmet would require. Highlights include:

Lower Accommodations
A centerline stairway will bring us down below to the lower accommodations. The 55 Viking “Margin Call” features a 3 stateroom, 2 head arrangement. Immediately to starboard there's a door housing an over under washer dryer. The Avante washing machine is updated and paired with a Kenmore dryer.
Just forward to starboard is the bunk bed stateroom. It’s great for kids, cruising guests, fishing buddies or crew. This bunk room offers an overhead hatch for natural light, dresser drawers, Cedar lined hanging locker, carpet, updated wallpaper and climate controls. There is a full head accessible from inside the bunk room and the hallway.
Across the hallway to port is the midship master state room. The master features an island Queen berth, updated wallpaper, padded headboard, matching lamps on twin nightstands with storage drawers, a large cedar lined hanging locker, custom granite countertop and an updated flat screen Samsung TV. The master stateroom has an en suite head. The head has been redecorated with a custom Quartz countertop, updated faucet and custom wallpaper. Additional master head features include a large stall shower with seat and Vacuflush head.
Continuing forward the door for hallway access to the guest head is to stbd. It features a stall shower w/ seat, custom updated wallpaper, custom updated Quartz countertop and sink hardware and a Vacuflush head.
All the way forward is the VIP state room. The arrangement has a large twin berth to starboard with raised single berth to port with storage beneath. Also to port is a cedar lined hanging locker. VIP stateroom has ensuite access to the shared guest head. Additional highlights include:

Flybridge
