The Uniflite 48 Convertible is a handsome and good-running offshore sportfisherman built to compete in tournament-level events. She's constructed on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull design with balsa coring in the hullsides from the waterline up. This was Uniflite's largest foray into the big-boat sportfishing market.
"SAVVY" is only on her second owner who has had the boat for a short time (change of plans). This boats original owner constantly upgraded the boat throughout her life and it shows.
"SAVVY" is the ultimate West Coast Sportfisher. This boat has been constantly upgraded throughout her life by the original owner who owned the boat for 38 years. The interior, exterior and flybridge have been refit. The open layout, West Coast bow rails, and large fuel capacity, make this 48 a sportfisherman that is ready for coastal and long range fishing trips.
Cockpit and DeckThis 48 Uniflite has a large cockpit for plenty of fishing room. Forward and to Port and Starboard are 2 giant Bait tanks for extended trips. A new 110 volt bait pump with a 12 volt back up pump provide ample water flow and redundancy.
Moving forward are a pair of Precision Marine outriggers. Passage to the boaw is easy with the large West Coast rails. All the way forward is a spacious bow with an electric windlass, 1000 pound davit and pulpit.

To port is a custom entertainment center with a DVD player and surround sound.

"SAVVY is powered by a pair of rebuilt (2001) Cummins 903 diesel Motors that are flawless. Ships power is provided by a 2001 Northern Lights 8KW generator.
Access to the machinery space is excellent, and the entire fuel system was redone from the tanks to the motors. New AGM batteries were installed in 2018 and are charged by a new Pro Mariner smart charger.
The freshwater system has been upgraded to 400 gallons, and with the water maker, freshwater should never be a problem. The water pumps were upraded to smart pumps on a manifold system so if you were ever to lose a pump, the backup will kick in.
