One of the few remaining Yachts built by John Trumpy & Sons. With approximately 70 remaining of the 428 built from 1920 until 1972 left in the world this Rare ââ?¬Å?Galley Upââ?¬ï¿½ 1957 Trumpy 59ââ?¬â?¢ Houseboat boat is ready for its next adventure! The current owner bought her in 2009, and after doing major renovations including a new generator, one rebuilt transmission, extensive wood replacement, new copper counter tops in the galley, SAT/TV along with a keel replacement in 2014. She was used primarily for the ownerââ?¬â?¢s previous marina marketing program, traveling from the Chesapeake Bay to Florida yearly until she was hauled in 2016.Ã? She motored down to Beaufort from her permanent slip in Virginia and hauled out for some additional renovations which were not completed due to a dispute with the contractor.
