Exterior Design and Deck Layout
The ProTeam 175 TXW features large casting decks both fore and aft, providing comfortable working space for anglers. The forward casting deck spans 32 square feet with a bow freeboard of 1 foot 11 inches and includes practical features such as a rod bungee on the port side and pressure-treated wood deck construction beneath marine-grade carpet, backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Two movable fishing seats with clamshell-style pinchless hinges and removable cushions are new additions, folding down for travel convenience. The aft fishing deck measures approximately 14.7 square feet and incorporates a new 21-gallon livewell with a removable divider, oxygenation, aeration, and rounded corners. The best cruise speed was 19.3 mph at 4,000 rpm, achieving fuel consumption of 2.3 gallons per hour and a range of approximately 162 statute miles with a 10% fuel reserve. Handling was sporty and nimble, with smooth, controlled turns and no propeller ventilation during tight maneuvers. While the boat is rated for up to 75 horsepower, the 60-horsepower engine strikes a balanced power-to-weight ratio suitable for its intended use.
