Overview

The Tracker Pro Team 195 TXW Bass Boat is the largest modified V-aluminum bass boat in Tracker's lineup, measuring 18 feet 7 inches in length. Designed specifically for serious anglers, it comes equipped with essential fishing features and performance capabilities that cater to bass fishing enthusiasts.

Exterior Design and Fishing Features

At the bow, the Pro Team 195 TXW includes a Minn Kota trolling motor as standard equipment, complemented by a navigation light socket, an outboard trim switch, and space for an optional fish finder. The forward casting deck is carpeted and offers 39 square feet of open space, the largest in this series, providing ample room for fishing activities. The forward fishing seat is versatile, swiveling, folding over, snapping closed with a strap, and can be quickly removed. Moving aft, the center bucket seat folds down to allow easy access to the rear deck, which features another fishing chair capable of swiveling a full 360 degrees. Removing this chair creates additional space for anglers to maneuver while fighting fish.

Storage and Seating

Storage is well thought out with carpeted lockers on each side of the bow measuring 3 feet 8 inches long by 2 feet 3 inches wide and 1 foot 3 inches deep, all secured with locking hatches. Central rod storage is integrated under a hatch supported by twin gas struts and secured with dual locking latches, featuring guides for maximum rod length. An integrated cooler is built into the step up to the forward casting deck, and tubular compartments provide additional small item storage. The port side cockpit has dedicated rod racks secured by bungee cords, while the aft deck contains small tub-style lockers on either side of a large, aerated live well with dual hatches and an optional divider for bait or fish separation. Seating includes three bucket seats, with the center mini seat folding down for convenience. The port-side passenger area offers foot bracing and space for an optional second console. Cup holders and grab handles are strategically placed for passenger comfort and safety.

Dash and Controls

The helm features a dark-colored dash panel with an upholstered eyebrow designed to reduce glare on the gauges. Tracker provides a basic instrument package, a bungee cord holder for a cell phone, and a Lowrance fish finder mounted on a bracket to starboard. Accessory switches and a 12-volt plug are conveniently located, and the throttle is ergonomically positioned on the gunnel. A windscreen helps deflect wind and spray, enhancing comfort during operation.

Systems and Fuel Access

A large hatch in the center of the aft deck grants access to the 30-gallon fuel tank, two batteries, and live well plumbing. The fuel fill is located aft to starboard, facilitating easy refueling and maintenance.

Power and Performance

Powered by a Mercury 150 horsepower four-stroke outboard engine paired with a three-blade stainless steel propeller, the Pro Team 195 TXW achieved a top speed of 57.9 miles per hour at 5,800 RPM while consuming 14.3 gallons per hour, resulting in a range of approximately 110 miles. The most efficient cruise speed was recorded at 23.7 miles per hour at 2,500 RPM, burning 3.1 gallons per hour and extending the range to 210 miles with a 10% fuel reserve. The boat features Tracker's power track offset transom, which enhances hole shot and overall performance. Planing occurs rapidly in 3.3 seconds, reaching 20 miles per hour in 5.1 seconds and 30 miles per hour in 8.1 seconds. The Revolution Variable Deadrise Hull, backed by Tracker's Smooth Ride Guarantee, provides solid handling and smooth turns even in choppy or less-than-ideal lake conditions.

Conclusion

The Tracker Pro Team 195 TXW delivers excellent value for anglers seeking a well-equipped, high-performance bass boat. With its powerful 150 horsepower outboard, comprehensive fishing features including a Minn Kota trolling motor, Lowrance fish finder, and aerated live well, it is purpose-built to meet the demands of serious bass fishing. The boat's solid construction, thoughtful storage solutions, and smooth handling make it a reliable and efficient choice for freshwater anglers.
