The 40 Tri-Cabin was the first big yacht ever built by Tollycraft. A conservative design, she features a straightforward double-cabin interior with the galley in the salon and wraparound cabin windows. The aft Stateroom is particularly spacious for a boat this size and has twin single berths and direct access to the cockpit. Sliding deck doors are located port and starboard in the salon with mahogany woodwork. There is a stall shower in the aft head. She has extra wide sidedecks and a complete lower helm station. Her big 100 square foot aft deck is roomy enough for entertaining or dinghy storage. Construction is solid fiberglass, and the engineering and workmanship are above average throughout. Additional features include a transom door in the cockpit, swim platform, and plenty of storage.
