Pio, this Tofinou 7 meter has lived an easy life sailing the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York since she was new in 2001. Then in 2012 she was purchased by her second owner who lightly sailed her during Summer months on the waters of Peconic Bay, just to the west of Shelter Island. She has always been stored indoors at a heated facility and during this time her varnish and maintenance was tended to.
The Yanmar diesel which is standard in all Tofinou 7 meters makes getting under power a breeze. Unlike most day sailers of her size having to deploy and stow an outboard.
New upgrades for 2017:
New Quantum Sails mainsail and jib with uv cover which have not been used.
New mainsail cover and cockpit cover in dark blue sun brella made by Custom Marine Canvas.
There is a load rite trailer included with Pio which is suitable for moving her around locally and launching/hauling. New tires and rims where installed fall of 2015 along with led trailer lights.
