The 2024 Tidewater 292 CC Adventure is built for owners who refuse to choose between a serious fishing machine and a comfortable family boat.

Tidewater's South Carolina construction shows in the details that matter offshore: a foam-filled hull, exclusive Corrugated Grid Stringer Vertebra structure, and Dry Chine Ride hull that throws spray out and away instead of over the crew. The result is a solid, quiet, confident 29-footer that feels planted in a chop and stays surprisingly dry when the Gulf or Atlantic gets sloppy. At 29'2" with a 10'2" beam, 22 deadrise, and about 18" of draft, the 292 CC is yacht-certified and sized to work. Twin Mercury 300s push it into the mid-50s at the top end, with a comfortable cruise in the low 30s and a 220-gallon fuel tank that gives real range for a full day of fishing or island-hopping.

A recessed windlass, raw- and freshwater washdowns, trim tabs, and a glass-enclosed fiberglass T-top keep the platform ready for work and weather.

The layout is what sells the boat. Forward, wrap-around bow seating with bolsters, a stow-away backrest, and an electric hi-low table (plus filler cushion) convert from lounge to dining table to sundeck in minutes. A wide forward-console lounge with armrests gives a second social zone. Amidships, the yacht-style helm has dual footrests, laser-cut switches, and space for dual 16" multifunction displays behind a tempered-glass enclosure. The leaning post is tied into the T-top with the same D-tube structure used on Tidewater's larger 320 CC, so it feels like part of the boat, not an afterthought. Aft, this is still a fishing boat: two insulated, macerated in-floor fish boxes, additional bow boxes, under-gunwale rod storage, extra holders, a starboard tuna/dive door with ladder, and a fold-down transom bench that disappears when you need the cockpit. Inside the console is a china-bowl head with pump-out and overboard discharge--enough amenity for all-day trips without turning the 292 into a cabin boat.
