With a draft of just 6", in combination with the E-TEC 250 HP engine mounted on the 10" Bob's Machine jack plate, the amazing boat can rest in just 6" of water.
Once she gets on plane, she'll skim as little as 3" of water. This ability is due in part to the Variable Lift System (VLS) designed to draw water under the boat for stability and functional performance in super shallow water. In essence, the running surface directs waterflow up to the propeller without inducing additional drag.
This means you can maneuver this boat to waters where the fish are all by yourself because what other boats can do the same?
The 8' 6" beam allows for a wide walkway down both sides of the console riser enabling a fisherman to walk the fish around the boat without obstruction. She is stable enough to walk bow to stern when fighting a large fish.
Under the port and starboard gunnels are spacious horizontal storage compartments with locks.
Seating is extremely comfortable due to the overstuffed racing-style bolster seats. They not only look great, but are comfortable and give a secure feel even at high running speeds.
The stern has 5 hatches with hydraulic struts. Here you'll find a 28 gallon recirculating release well, an 18 gallon live well, plenty of storage, and easy access to pumps and other systems.

Overview
The Tiburon ZX25 is a hybrid boat design that combines the shallow water agility typical of flats boats with the open water performance characteristics of bay boats. Powered by an Evinrude E-Tec G2300 300-horsepower outboard engine, this vessel is engineered to access extremely shallow flats where other boats cannot venture, without sacrificing planing ability or performance.
Hull Design and Shallow Water Capability
The hull of the Tiburon ZX25 is carefully designed using CAD CAM software to optimize water flow and minimize drag. A distinctive feature is that the propeller and skeg run completely above the planing surface, maintaining water pressure and preventing cavitation even in very shallow water. Our test boat was equipped with an Evinrude E-Tec G2300 outboard featuring a 25-inch shaft and a four-bladed stainless steel propeller measuring 14.6 inches in diameter with a 23-inch pitch. With two people aboard and 60 gallons of fuel, the boat weighed approximately 2,717 pounds. During testing, it achieved a top speed of 48.6 miles per hour at 5,500 RPM. The most efficient cruising speed was recorded at 29.3 miles per hour at 3,500 RPM, consuming 9.1 gallons per hour and delivering a fuel economy of 3.2 miles per gallon. This translates to a range of 204 statute miles with a 10% fuel reserve from the 70-gallon capacity. The engine's increased torque was noticeable during acceleration, providing a strong and responsive ride.

At the bow, the Tiburon ZX25 features a large forward casting deck designed to accommodate a bow-mounted trolling motor.
