Thomas Knutson Shipbuilding on Long Island built this lovely classic wooden Auxiliary Sailing Yawl in 1961, utilizing a modified Sparkman & Stephen design. From 2007-2012 the boat was moored at Robinhood Marina in Georgetown, Maine where her present owners enjoyed day and overnight coastal cruising.
The planked hull is of mahogany over white oak, painted dark green. The interior sleeps 4 and is constructed with solid mahogany woods, knotty cedar, painted veneers, teak cabin sole and white painted overheads. Forward there is a V-berth and head with shower. The galley has a propane stove, cabin heater surrounded by ceramic tile, stainless steel sink with a fresh water faucet and brass sea water hand pump. The main cabin has 2 berths/settees, 1 on the port and 1 on the starboard side and ample storage.
