She's been very well maintained two-owner bay boat, now called "Pop Pop" and has seen many updates in the past few years, new electronics, new generator and more. Thomas built boats use a technique employing C-flex, a clothlike material made from fiberglass. Everything's hand-cut, handmade, hand-painted, one boat at a time. He also doesn't design his boats, only builds them. He leaves the design work to Sintes F/G Designs, a New Orleans firm that uses a Cad a computer software to develop blueprints and sends them, along with a plywood wood-frame kit, to Thomas.
"Pop Pop" is currently set-up for some serious fishing or to cruise the Chesapeake Bay and beyond.
