This is Tartan 28, a sloop rigged with a fin keel and has a keel-stepped mast and a spade rudder.
She is powered by a Volvo Penta 18HP Diesel engine.
Down below she has a V berth forward with a head just aft to starboard, followed by salon and quarter berth. There is a nav station and galley to port. The AC is working great and is used regularly.
The galley has an alcohol burner stove, icebox, and sink.
Her sail inventory includes multiple sails, 2 Mains, one Jib, a Genoa, and a self-tacking Jib.
This boat recently and successfully made a journey from Galveston, TX to Biloxi, MS January 2024.
The sailboat is used at least once a week for short day and night runs or weekend journeys at local islands.
