1979 Tartan 30 Sold Boat in Swansea, MA US

For sale is this 1979 Tartan 30 (hull #572). Sail inventory includes a good main and 130 roller furled genoa, a back-up main in decent condition and a 150 genoa that has seen little use since the boat last changed ownership in 2003. Ground tackle includes a 25# CQR with 20' of chain and 160' of three strand nylon. Recent upgrades include a remanufactured Atomic 4 in 2005, new fuel tank in 2006, new marine sanitation system in 2010 (includes the toilet, proper hoses and fittings, macerator pump, Y-valve, holding tank). New life lines were installed around 2006. A new shifter cable was installed in 2010. Dock lines, fenders, PFD's and numerous spare parts including a Delco electronic ignitor module go with the boat. Also included is a copy of the Owner's Manual for the Atomic 4. Navigation equipment includes a binnacle mounted Ritchie compass and a Garmin 192C GPS/Chartplotter with hookup for AC power and to connect to a computer. The engine has just been serviced and a new starting battery installed.

This boat features a v berth which comfortably sleeps two with a recently varnished teak door that provides privacy for either the v berth area or the head. The head with hand shower is to port with a hanging locker to starboard. A dinette table, generally stored above the port quarter berth, fits nicely in the main salon. Port and starboard settees provide sleeping quarters for three. A port side quarter berth provides storage area or an additional bunk. The galley is to starboard and features hot and cold pressurized water, a two burner alcohol stove and an ice chest accessible to the galley as well as to the cockpit.
