At 21' 1" long with an 8' 6" beam, this boat is loaded with plenty of seating space for everyone you want to share the fun with, as well as plenty of storage for all their gear. As with all TAHOE models, the storage compartments are even finished gelcoat to allow for easy cleanup. It even comes with a removable table that can be set up at two convenient locations for eating (yes, there's even a carry-on cooler standard for keeping food and drinks cold).
And in regard to that performance, this deck boat delivers in spades! Its innovative layout and well-equipped features make it suitable for both family outings and serious anglers.
Fishing Features and Deck Layout
The 2150CC is thoughtfully outfitted for fishing enthusiasts. At the bow, a pre-rigged mount supports an optional 70-pound thrust trolling motor, with dedicated storage located just ahead of the console when not in use. The bow seating area converts into a casting deck via removable cushions and an added filler panel, complemented by a 17-gallon aerated livewell. Under-seat compartments include 84-quart insulated fish boxes, while a self-draining basin with tackle storage is positioned to starboard and an insulated cooler with tool and hook holders to port. Rod holders are integrated into the cap rail, supported by padded bolsters rising to 33 inches, and underground rod storage accommodates both 7- and 10-foot rods with clear labeling and padded bulwarks to protect reels. The center console design facilitates 360-degree movement, enhancing fishing functionality. At the transom, amenities include a raw water washdown system, a full-length padded seating area with flip-up sections revealing non-skid surfaces and storage, and a removable engine well platform that improves usability when an aft fishing seat is installed. Controls are logically arranged with trim tab rockers, engine control binnacle, and a kicker stereo system. Additional conveniences include a phone holder, hanging storage pouches, a non-skid foot rail, and a grab rail surrounding the console that maintains 17 inches of side deck clearance. The helm seat spans 35 inches and features dual flip bolsters with a removable seat back that doubles as rod holders. Underneath, space is allocated for a 36-quart carry-on cooler and a lockable storage box.
Power and Performance
The Tahoe 2150CC comes standard with a 150-horsepower engine and can be equipped with up to 225 horsepower. The test model was powered by a mid-range 200-horsepower Mercury 4-stroke engine paired with a 19-pitch inertia propeller. With an estimated test weight of 4,181 pounds, including full fuel and two passengers, the boat achieved a top speed of 48.6 miles per hour at 5,500 RPM. The most efficient cruising speed was recorded at 3,000 RPM, delivering 22.6 miles per hour with a fuel consumption of 5.4 gallons per hour, equating to 4.2 miles per gallon and a range of 174 statute miles while maintaining a 10% fuel reserve. Increasing the throttle to 3,500 RPM raised the speed to 29.2 miles per hour with only a minor reduction in range, suggesting this as a practical cruising speed. The boat demonstrated quick acceleration, planing in 4.1 seconds, reaching 20 miles per hour in 6.8 seconds, and 30 miles per hour in 9.8 seconds. Handling was smooth and dry in flat water conditions, with easy transitions across wakes. The hull features a Powerglide design with reverse chine and Hydrastep strakes, enhancing performance and stability. Trim tabs are mounted beneath the extended running surface.
Dimensions and Additional Features
The 2150CC measures 21 feet 1 inch in length overall with a beam of 8 feet 6 inches. Its empty weight is 3,485 pounds. Battery management includes a main battery located under a hatch on the starboard side of the platform and dual trolling motor batteries to port. The battery switch is positioned under the starboard gunwale, though the addition of a jump position to parallel all batteries was suggested.
