AS NOTED BY RESEARCH:
During the late 50's / early 60's many boat designers began to investigate aerodynamic principles which could be applied to marine craft. This was 'revolutionary thinking' at the time. Designer/Builder Bob Switzer was one of those revolutionary designers.
The idea was to create a dynamic ram flow of air to 'pressurize' the bottom of the craft while adding an upper hull surface which would take advantage of aerodynamic lifting forces.
SWITZER has built boats for many manufactures as well as racing customs and is still a name remembered for the fastest hulls on the water and the strongest safety record while in production. ***ZERO STORM DAMAGE!!
