41' Sweden C 41 '83 "Diva"
Diva was originally built as the personal yacht for the owner of Sweden Yachts, but ended up being sold to a yachtsman in the US. Her current owners are the 2nd owner and have owned her for 18 yrs. She has been lightly used and has been well maintained. Her interior is in excellent condition and reflects her light use. The mahogany interior lends a feeling of richness and warmth that is found only in yachts of this caliber. Special attention to detail and highly engineered storage is typical of Sweden Yachts construction. Below the floor is a heavily constructed fiberglass grid which provides structural integrity to the hull and keel. Her topsides are in excellent condition as they were painted with LPU in 2012. The teak decks, are in good condition, and installed over solid fiberglass decks. A new saildrive lower unit was installed 5 years ago, providing smooth auxiliary power and great maneuverability. The hull was painted in 2012 and was just hauled out in 2017 for her regular saildrive/engine service and bottom job. Sweden Yachts is a highly respected builder of performance cruisers and DIVA is an excellent example with a reported PHRF rating of 84.
