Exterior Design and Deck Layout
The stern area of the Party Barge 22 DLX features an expansive aft deck measuring 8 feet wide and 20 inches fore and aft, bordered by a 26-inch tall rail and equipped with a robust boarding ladder on the starboard side. The aft gate opens inward with a 14-inch wide opening matching the rail height. Seating arrangements include a small starboard lounge and a prized aft-facing port lounge that doubles as an ideal sun pad, measuring 3 feet 6 inches by 4 feet 4 inches. The cushions on these lounges lift on gas struts or hinges to reveal storage compartments and a convenient changing curtain frame with a fold-out seat beneath the port lounge cushion. Moving forward, the port side hosts an L-shaped lounge with a locking dry storage compartment beneath its hinged cushion. The port boarding gate is wheelchair accessible, opening 28 inches wide and securing in place. The bow area offers a shorter port lounge and a full-length starboard lounge, with dedicated storage for a wastebasket and two lockers beneath the starboard cushions. A versatile table can be mounted at the bow or adjacent to the midship port lounge. Additional exterior features include a wide forward platform, low-profile LED navigation lights to minimize tripping hazards, and a 9-foot color-matched bimini top with a quick-lift frame, LED courtesy lights, and vibration-reducing nylon straps. The optional mooring cover installs on a rail-lock track beneath the rail, providing protection and maintaining the boat’s appearance.
Helm and Controls
The helm station is equipped with analog gauges, a small shelf, accessory switches, a 12-volt power outlet, horn button, and two cup holders. A tall windscreen offers effective protection, while a cell phone holder and a stereo system with Bluetooth, USB, and auxiliary ports enhance convenience.
