The Stamas 44 is a premium world cruising yacht.This one has been maintained and continually upgraded by a very experienced owner and spare parts for absolutely everything are on board. She is capable of navigating to any destination in total safety and is unsurpassed in comfort and amenities as a long term live-aboard. The generous center cockpit is fully protected by a custom hard top and dodger and is situated above a huge walk-in engine room with a Perkins 4-154  62 HP diesel and a Westerbeke 8 KW generator. This is a big boat and it shows in the spacious cabins. A light, airy salon with settee and big dinette is amidships. The u-shaped galley is superbly equipped with a propane stove and oven, fridge and separate freezer, microwave and a trash compacter. The dual air conditioning systems keep her cool below. There is also a washer/dryer. The walk- through, huge aft cabin has a generous shower and head compartment as does the forward guest cabin. There is a helm station in the forward salon for safe navigation in inclement weather which duplicates the fully instrumented cockpit helm. This yacht shows like a new boat and has cleverly designed storage lockers everywhere. The wide decks are perfect for lazy days in the fresh air. The ketch rig always allows a sailplan  that is balanced in all sailing conditions. The aft deck has strong davits for the 11 ft Boston whaler with 25 hp outboard. There is a locker with 4 scuba tanks and a dive compressor. The ground tackle is comprehensive with 3 anchors and an electric winch and deck wash. With 4 solar panels and a wind generator she is energy efficient when away from the dock. All the electronics to monitor everything are there. This is a superb yacht in above average condition and with every conceivable option on board, is a very high value yacht at only $145,000.
