There are two distinctly separate purposes that go into the planning of each and every Aegean. Number One is a fishing cockpit that is battlewagon equipped and just as importantly. Number Two is a cabin that is comfortable and functional with a Yacht Quality fit and finish. This philosophy is why after 65 years of production Stamas is still the standard by which all other builders are compared.
The Aegean Series is considered by fishermen to be the most well equipped functional express platform on the market today. Getting to the fishing grounds quickly and comfortably is a benefit that everyone onboard appreciates and The Stamas "Variable Degree Deep V" hull is famous for doing just that. With today's big Yamaha 4 stroke engines available in twin or triple set ups these yachts are not only soft riding and dry, but also fast and fuel efficient. Once there tackle centers, livewells and fully insulated fish boxes make fishing a pleasure. Helm stations are raised to help keep an eye on the lines in the water and can be equipped with electronics from Raymarine, Simrad, Garmin, or your custom choice. Hardtops with launchers are standard as are the Premium Taco helmsmen chairs.
