Sportsman Boats began its journey in 2011 with just six employees working out of a modest 20,000 sq. ft. leased space. From day one, the mission was clear-this wouldn't be just another boat company. We set out to build something different. Something better. Not by copying others, but by pushing boundaries with innovative design, cutting-edge technology and a deep focus on the boating family.
It was clear there was a need for a true family-friendly center console. One built for those who love to fish, demand a great ride, appreciate sleek, modern styling and most importantly, need safety and comfort for the whole family. That vision shaped everything we did-and still drives us today.
Our goal has always been simple: build high-quality boats with versatile layouts and amenities that the whole family can enjoy. Every model is built to NMMA certification standards, ensuring the highest level of safety, quality and durability. And we constantly evolve-listening to owner feedback and making meaningful improvements that keep our models fresh and forward-looking.
Today, Sportsman offers a full lineup from 21 to 40 feet and we've proudly shipped over 20,000 boats nationwide. The strong design language we created is often imitated but never duplicated and our loyal customer base speaks volumes-many owners return time and again for their next Sportsman.
Every boat is built by skilled craftsmen right here in our hometown of Summerville, South Carolina. With the launch of our flagship Open 402, we've entered a new era-one that stays true to our roots but pushes even further into performance, innovation and refinement.
