Almeda is truly a special South Shore 34 Down-east built cruising vessel. During her time of build she was laid out as a simple cruising boat for two or a nice large platform used as a day boat for the entire family.
The South Shore 34 is one of Calvin Beal's past designs. The fiberglass components of the boat were built by Webber's Cove Boat Works in Blue Hill, Maine. All components were then trucked to West Bay Boats where she was assembled, motor installed, tanks installed and completed. The boats wiring, windows and canvas were sub contracted out with another company.
