Overview
"ROVER" is a traditional, sturdy down-east design, suitable for coastal fishing, cruising by a couple, or day-use for a larger group. The flying bridge, with its collapsible bimini, provides a protected steeting station with unobstructed 360 degree visibility: a unique feature in a vessel of this size. The large deck house and cockpit opens aft via a transom gate to the teak swim platform. The engine box encloses a Chrysler 318, 225hp rebuilt gas engine with 166 hours logged since this new rebuilt engine was professionally installed. Cruising at 10-12 knots is economical, with 5 gal/hr consumption possible, max speed for this semi-displacement hull is 15-17 knots. The engine box is fitted with a cushion, creating a large partially enclosed seating area. A hatch in the sole provides access to the rudder quadrant aft of the engine box.
