The PowerBoat Guide had this to say:
A stylish sedan by the standards of her day, the Silverton 362 is an entry-level family cruiser with a lot of living space packed into her 36-foot length. Shes built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide beam and a relatively steep 17 degrees of transom deadrise. The two-stateroom floor-plan is arranged with a mid-level galley and an island berth in the forward stateroom. The guest stateroom (which extends beneath the salon settee) has two single berths that convert into a queen berth with a filler. Note the split head/shower compartments, a great idea that allows someone to take a shower without tying up the head. With her spacious interior dimensions, its no surprise that the 362s cockpit is on the small side. Two hatches in the sole provide easy access to the engines, and molded steps lead up to the oversize flybridge with its wraparound lounge seating. Additional features include side-dumping exhausts, radar arch, transom door, and foldaway bench seating at the transom.
